Christine Germain, is a movement specialist who wants to share to the world what has helped her improve her fitness and recover from injuries. She has been active in sports all her life; figure skating, synchronized swimming, gymnastics, circus, martial arts, and numerous dances from around the world. She received a BFA (Concordia University, Montreal) and an MFA (UC Davis) in dance and choreography using somatic education as part of the curriculum. She observes and analyses in order to improve people’s efficiency of motion. She has been a movement educator since 1998.

The Feldenkrais Method helped her to recover from a serious injury and a car accident, which allowed her to get back to dance and to get initiated to circus arts.

Germain has taught at Cirque du Soleil, as a DanceMedicine Specialist in Sports Medicine at St-Francis Memorial Hospital in San Francisco, at the California Institute of Integral Studies, L'Université du Québec à Montréal, UC Davis, and Rafael Landivar University in Guatemala. She currently works at The Corner Studio, RCPTFitness and the Berkeley Rep School of Theatre. She offers workshops in California and abroad.
