Courage is Not the Absence of Fear
SATURDAY, FEB 1st
12:30 – 6:00 PM
Come out to support Larry during these challenging times by supporting what he loves and does best: Teach Feldenkrais® for us!
This advanced training addresses what it means to develop the potential to be courageous with others. And for yourself. Let’s come together to experience the relevance of the warrior’s way and realize our potential for boldness and bravery.
“The fears we don’t face become our limits.”
In this workshop, we take on what Feldenkrais meant by the body pattern of anxiety. Through Awareness through Movement® lessons and FI® practices, you’ll explore Moshe’s pragmatic and present moment method as a means for embodying the martial arts of daily life.
“One isn’t necessarily born with courage, but one is born with potential.
Without courage, we cannot practice any other virtue with consistency.
We can’t be kind, true, merciful, generous, or honest.”
You’ll be putting ideas into action, learning to recognize, respond to, and remediate apprehension, anxiety, and alarm, working on your own and with others. (The workshop’s taking place in an Aikido dojo that has a traditional tatami mat floor — you can be sure Larry has something special planned that’ll be benefiting from this fact.)
